Othello syndrome

Domestic violence has become the subject of news in Kenya recently
We read, hear and see husbands beat up their wives, or plot to kill their patners
Medical research has proven that there lies a very thin line between domestic violence and the disorder called"othello syndrome"
The symptom is mostly being overly possessive of your spouse
Othello syndrome is characterised by the mentality of "If I can't have you,then no one else will"
It is trigerred by intense jealousy and fear of abandonment
