We've all been to a date...or a couple of dates. For different reasons...
Some are selfish, some we got no reason why we even consented to
You were probably hungry...or was bored, or needed some convenient company.

Interestingly...I found out these dates could be categorized...Generally
They are not in any way a standard classification


Filler Dates.
These are dates you use to fill your time, mind, or heart.
You may go on a filler date because you’re bored and you would like to go out to a nice dinner. You may want to go on a filler date because you just got dumped, and can’t keep your mind off your ex. You might feel sad throughout the whole date, but that’s four more hours you haven’t called your ex!

Filler dates aren’t wrong because a man is taking you on a date with an intention to try to convince you to “try him out.”

It’s like a sales pitch, you don't have to buy anything. You’re just there to see if you might be interested. Granted, you may not be attracted or interested, but you’re giving him the chance. Sometimes men are just happy for the chance.

You’re using filler dates for your own benefit, just as a man would easily use a woman for sex. Don’t feel guilty. Control those emotions of guilt and move forward.

Speed date
Starts with exchanging contacts...
Happens a lot in public vehicles (mat za Ronga kwanza...!) or in some pub or restaurant
You probably out on a date with your boyfriend or girls. Then some guy follows you to the washroom or sends your attendant to get him your number...or He passes his phone to you asking for your number...
Then later...maybe, you hook up on a date… bla bla bla

Through pass date
Probably a friend's boyfriend who doesn't live in town has come around and needs some company. So, you become like a wing-lady. Ya'all go have fun...such dates don't come with any obligations because all you have to do is just dress up and show up.
Whether you'll be liked or not is not always much of a bother.
After the date...if you liked each other, it could lead to a couple more dates or people blacklisting each other...

I'm the boss date
Probably an ex who dumped yo ass
You got yo shit together and you probably want to show him yo the one calling the shots.
That's the furthest I can explain this

First date
Ha-ha..!...probably with a guy you like
Could be a Posh place-Villa Rosa...or just some sizzling joint somewhere...We've all been to first dates...
It comes with so much pressure...like what to wear. What make up to put on...you feel the whole zoo in your stomach especially if you like the guy.
Never go out with a guy for “coffee” or “a walk in the park” unless you want to.

He’ll either step his game up or take you out somewhere nice or he’ll go away. If he goes away, well! You just avoided dating a cheapskate. You avoided dating a man that thought if he bought you some coffee, he could screw you with minimal effort. Remember: If he isn’t interested in putting in any effort, he’s just a player out there looking to wham-bam

Now, you might find a broke guy that you really like. He might be honest and upfront, “Hey, I’m in college and I don’t have much money, but could I take you out, maybe to the park for a picnic?” If you really like him and he comes off as an honest guy and you don’t mind, then give him a chance. It's not about how much they spend on you, it's about their intentions.

Girls' date
Probably with girlfriends...we meet to fill each other in on what's juicy in our lives.

Men meet over beer to talk on whatever topics they want
I can't really talk on the content coz I haven't been to one.

Casual dates
Hook up with a friend
Probably at Imax for a movie, or for pizza on terrific Tuesdays or for ice-cream at Coldstone
Whichever...this is probably a male friend
Could be a friend zoned fella or just an innocent friend...haha

Security dates
A friend has a new catch who stays or doesn't stay in town
It's their first meeting and she tags you along as her security just in case...We've all done this at some point.
After all these come with many benefits...free drinks, free food and a good time.

Wait....September is TAKE A LADY ON A DATE month..c'mon guys.

Take a lady out on a date before September ends(I'm also open for any date by the way, just)...ladies we have our countdown already...
